On 31 December 2019, Nantong municipal leading cadre conference was held. Relevant decisions were announced: Xu Huimin was appointed as secretary of CPC Nantong Committee, and that Lu Zhipeng was no longer secretary of CPC Nantong Committee, member of the standing committee and member of CPC Nantong Committee. Wang Hui was appointed as member, member of the standing Committee and deputy secretary of CPC Nantong Committee, nominated as candidate of Nantong mayor.
