1. Central Committee of CPC and State Council published planning and guideline of integrated regional development of Yangtze River delta. Nantong got new development opportunities which have not appeared for 100 years.

2.　Nantong had a large celebration of the 70th anniversary of People’s Republic of China.

３.‘Keep original intention in mind, remember mission’ theme education was carried out in order and in depth.

４. Nantong held ‘major and large projects implementation year’ event, let high quality project building promote high quality development of social economy. A batch of major and large projects were settled and developed.

５.　2019 China Forest Tour Festival was opened in Nantong. Nantong has found a way to build forest city in a plain.

６.　CPC Jiangsu Committee, Jiangsu government and National Development and Reform Commission held Yangtze River protection conference. Nantong’s ‘last step’ of Yangtze River protection and high quality building of green ecological gate of the mouth of the Yangtze River attracted a lot of attention. People’s Daily and CCTV News focused on the Yangtze River ecological restoration and protection work of Nantong.

７.　Major events such as new generation of information technology expo, Jianghai international expo and shipping marine engineering industrial investment conference, Nantong merchants conference were held successfully, presented new opportunities of industries in Nantong to the world, accelerated accumulation of high end industrial elements and promoted upgrading of industries.

８.　Hutong Yangtze River Bridge was joined successfully. A batch of major traffic infrastructure facilities have accelerated building. Nantong is on its way to become a national integrated traffic hub.

９.　A batch of ‘heavy machines’, and ‘first ship type’ were manufactured and delivered. Heavy machine made in Nantong – the largest heavy self-propelled suction dredger in Asia Tian Kun’s first trip was commented as one of the ten epic level moments of China in 2019 by People’s Daily’s official account.

10. The 1st Nantong moral model selection was held, to promote new culture of the time, and implement citizen moral building. Spirit and civilization Nantong phenomenon got responses from various parties again.
