Nantong catering industry resumes business

On 12 March, Nantong epidemic prevention and control command office published announcement of catering industry’s resumption of operation, confirmed regulations of catering industry’s resumption of operation and dine-in services. The announcement includes 21 detailed regulations. Catering companies shall establish information reporting system, make epidemic prevention and control plans, and prepare relevant epidemic control goods; for restaurants which plan to resume dine-in services, disinfection and safety check shall be carried out for operation place, equipment and catering device. Workers are required to wear masks full time during working hours. About dining arrangement, the actual usable area of tables in the hall shall not exceed 50%, the gap between the tables shall be larger than 1 meter; only one table is allowed in one private room; the number of consumers shall not exceed half of the number of standard seats. Before epidemic prevention and control alarm is off, large dinner party is prohibited and snack service is not allowed.
