On 13 October, China（Jiangsu) Pilot Free Trade Zone Suzhou district and Suxitong science and technology industrial park interactive innovation zone was open officially. It meant that cross river integrated development of ‘two cities and two districts’：Nantong and Suzhou, Suxitong industrial park and Suzhou free trade zone has made a solid step.

In August, at the 3rd plenary meeting of leading group of Suzhou free trade zone, Suxitong industrial park was approved to be the 1st batch of interactive innovation zone. It was the 1st time Suzhou interactive innovation zone was extended beyond Suzhou region.

This time Suxitong industrial park was set up as interactive innovation zone. It will promote the interaction and integrated development of both parties in terms of talents, capital, industry and technology.
