At 12:00 on 10 December, the huge bell at Bell Tower at the crossing of Cross Street in Nantong downtown area rang twelve times on time. Nantong Haohe Scenic Area Management Office recently organized bell and watch maintenance technicians of three places which are Guangdong, Fujian and Jiangsu (Nantong) to dismantle and check the whole clock system of the bell by the principle of keeping the original appearance and repairing as the old look, improved the timing function.
