n 20 May, municipal bureau of public security and science and technology bureau held work and resident permits special window for foreigners who work and stay in Nantong opening ceremony at Nantong administrative service center. From that day, people can go to joint process window at public security entry and exit hall in municipal administrative service center to apply for work and resident permits for foreigners.

To make it convenient for foreigners to stay and work in China, improve window service quality and effect problems rectification work, and build first class business environment, exit and entry management department of Nantong public security bureau and foreign experts department of Nantong science and technology bureau cooperated in data information sharing and work progress integration, changed from individual evaluation and approval to one window application and permits issue at the same time by preliminary evaluation and mutual recognition, parallel approval and certificate unified issuance. ‘Consultation, notification, process and permit issuance’ can be realized at the same window. Duration of the progress is reduced to 7 working days.

On the day, two Japanese senior management talents of Nantong Kogi Okaya cast steel Co., Ltd. got foreigners’ work permits and resident permits successfully.

In the present there are more than 1300 foreign experts and talents who work and stay in Nantong.
