On 29 June, another masterpiece of famous architect in the world Paul Andreu - Nantong Art Museum was open officially. It gleamed against Nantong grand theatre by Zilang lake.

The external shape of Nantong Art Museum is like a art box which lights imagination. It tells the flexible and accessible art atmosphere of Nantong culture. The total floor area of the hall is about 32 thousand square meters. The height of the building is 24 m. There are in total 21 professional exhibition halls in the museum, and international lecture halls, multi-function halls, meeting rooms and collection storage rooms.

When it was open, six theme painting exhibitions were launched. Close to 700 works of about 500 artists were exhibited. The works include Chinese paintings, calligraphy, engraving and oil paintings. The exhibition will last more than one month.
