On 24 October, the 5th Jiangsu Wenhua Award awarding ceremony was held at Jiangsu grand theatre. Nantong won 8 awards, which broke the record in history. Drama where azalea bloom which is about the stories of Hai’an teachers who support education in Ninglang won the highest honor of stage performance group team - Wenhua grand award. Song you are a national hero, conjuring Plum-blossom in Three Movements, acrobatics chase dreams in the sky - men and women’s climbing pole won excellent program awards. Man He, He Tingting and Chen Yangyang won performance awards. There was also excellent organization award won by Nantong.

Jiangsu Wenhua Award is the highest honor in provincial professional art field approved by Jiangsu government. It includes two categories: Wenhua grand award and Wenhua award. Wenhua grand award is the highest honor of stage art group award, Wenhua award includes single awards such as Wenhua excellent drama award.
