Rudong became the important transfer station of migrating birds. It is because it has four distinctive seasons, ample sunshine, ample rain, short frost period, monsoon and mild climate. Adequate temperature and climate attract birds. At the same time, there are over one million acres of natural wetland in Rudong, which protected biodiversity and provided ample food for migrating birds.
