On 17 February afternoon, Jiangsu fishing industry proliferation and release project Tongzhou district Yangtze River release event was held at water area near Shanghai-Suzhou-Nantong Yangtze River Bridge. Fish fries such as longsnout catfish, topmouth culter, and silver carp and first instar river juvenile crabs (Kou crab) were released to the Yangtze River.

On the day more than 1 million fish fries and 7309 kg juvenile crabs were released, which were worth 900 thousand Yuan.
