A few days ago, police of Caobu police station of Rudong public security bureau provided timely assistance, helped an employee Mr. Cun of a company solve the difficulty of his wife in residence permit application.

In a daily company visit, the police got to know Cun’s problem. His wife is from Myanmar. Every March she needs to return to Yunnan to apply for residence permit. However, now there is epidemic in Suzhou, the child is in 6th grade, if she went there and isolation was required, she could not look after the child. The residence permit was going to expire, the couple was very anxious.

After the police officer knew the situation, he visited Cun’s home, communicated with Cun’s wife, and reported to and consulted exit and entry administration department of Rudong public security bureau, hoped that ‘green channel’ could be provided to them, to shorten the process. The exit and entry department explained that Cun’s wife applied for residence permit in the past, and activation once per year at a fixed time at the organization where the permit was applied for the first time was required, according to the regulations, Cun’s wife shall go to Yunnan to activate, but considering the current epidemic condition and the difficulties of the person, ‘green channel’ could be provided after coordination.

On the day, Cun’s wife’s residence permit was done.
