After close to 5 years of tense and orderly construction, on 29 April, rail transit line No.1 phase 1 project passed project acceptance successfully. It is a sign that line No.1 phase 1 project will enter no passenger trial operation stage. The total length of rail transit line No.1 phase 1 project is 39.2 km. It passes Tongzhou district, Chongchuan district, development area. There are 28 stations. According to the plan, it will be open for operation officially in the second half of the year. The project’s acceptance is an important node of rail transit project construction. According to the relevant regulations, standards and requirements of Ministry of Housing and Urban-rural development, Ministry of Transport, and Jiangsu, rail transit project must pass project acceptance, completion acceptance and safety evaluation etc. and obtain relevant permits first, then it can start preliminary operation officially.

It is learnt that in the next stage, rail transit company will promote the transition from construction to operation of line No.1 phase 1 project, to prepare a solid foundation for preliminary operation of the project.
