This end is faith and trust from caring people, that end is dream and expectation of students in difficulty. Since 2006, Jianghai volunteer Wang Jian travelled alone for ten thousand li every year, went to Xizang area to contact and deliver warmth.
At 8 am 26 June, 65 years old Wang Jian completed nucleic acid test at Yonghe community, Yongxing streets, Chongchuan district, brought his luggage including camera, sleeping bag and dry food, rode on his favourite motorcycle, and started the 18th public welfare trip to the west.
The start of Wang Jian and his relationship with the west part of China, is dated back to May 2006. He, who loves photography and motorbike, has always admired the beauty and glory of the west area, started his first west trip with his companion on one motorbike. At that time, he also carried a small ‘task’ —— Nantong kind people entrusted him to look for some students who needed help. After several tests and difficulties, Wang Jian and his companion reached Daocheng Yading in Sichuan. With the help from Ganzi education bureau, they got a name list and contact information of 28 students who were excellent in studying and moral and were in difficulty. According to the name list, Nantong caring people could fund them one to one.
In 2009, Wang Jian went to Xuba village primary school at Luoxu town, Shiqu county, Sichuan province for the first time. The primary is on the opposite side of the river to Xizang, in front of a snow mountain. The gate of the school was small and narrow and the school buildings were all dilapidated. The fencing was also made of mud. Local volunteers told him that in winter children had no thick clothes. After he heard about that, Wang Jian measured and recorded the height and clothes length of all children, and brought the data back to Nantong. A caring entrepreneur in Nantong acted instantly, donated one down jacket to every student of the school.
Year after year, Wang Jian connected hope of difficult students and faith from caring people, built one and another bridges of love. In his 17 public welfare trips, more than 600 people got help from caring people, including more than 500 students and more than 100 lonely elderly people. He also built love bookstores for multiple schools in the mountain area.
