New Nantong - Ningbo high speed railway feasibility study report which attracted a lot of attention was approved by National Development and Reform Commission a few days ago.

Nantong - Ningbo high speed railway is located in Jiangsu province and Zhejiang province. The line starts from Yancheng - Nantong high speed railway Nantong West station, passes Suzhou, Jiangsu and Jiaxing and Ningbo of Zhejiang province, ends at Ningbo hub Ningbo station.

The high speed railway is about 309.8 kilometers long, 300.7 km is new line, and 9.1 km is existing line; the design speed is 350 kilometers per hour.
