In 2022, the power generation of Nantong offshore wind power project reached 15.984 billion kilowatt-hours. Daily power generation reached 43.79 million kilowatt-hours, which can satisfy the demand for power of about 19.2 thousand normal families in one year.

In the past few years, Nantong has been promoting large scale and centralized development of offshore wind power. Wind turbine installed capacity has been increasing at a fast pace continuously. 23 offshore wind farms have been built. The total installed capacity is 6.6852 million kilowatts.

According to calculation, 15.984 billion kilowatt-hours of clean energy can save 5.621 million tons of standard coal, 4585 tons of water and reduce emission of 19.638 million tons of carbon dioxide, compared with thermal power.
