Wind turbines set off for Africa

On 12th October, Liberian general cargo ship ‘DA DAN XIA’ loaded with the first batch of wind turbines of the largest wind power project in Africa set out from Tongzhou Bay Lvsi Start-up Port for Egypt. The wind turbines and other spare parts which were transported this time will be used in Power China Huadong Engineering Corporation’s Amunet onshore wind power project in Egypt. There are 780 pieces in total. The weight is 4954 tons, and the size is about 45570 cubic meters.

The Amunet project is located in the Suez Region along the Red Sea in Egypt. The planned installed capacity is 500 MW. It is one of the largest new energy projects signed in Egypt in the last few years.
