The reporter learnt from Nantong Bureau of Transport that the two intercity bus rapid transit lines opened on 14th October, which promoted the seamless connection between the downtown area of Nantong and Shanghai-Nanjing Riverside high-speed railway.

The intercity bus rapid transit lines which opened this time include the Nantong Administrative Center to Zhangjiagang Station (line C1), and Nantong Bonsai Garden to Zhangjiagang Station (line C2). During the trial operation, there are no stations along the line, and ‘point to point’ transport has been realized. There will be one bus every 30 minutes. The frequency will be optimized and adjusted according to passenger flow conditions. The ticket price of the rapid transit bus of a single journey is 6 yuan per person.
