On 21st November, the opening ceremony of School of Microelectronics of Nantong University (School of Integrated Circuit) was held at Nantong University.

Shang Qingfei, the secretary of CPC Committee of Nantong University, said that after the school was founded, it would carry out cooperation in aspects including talent cultivation, major building, industrial and education integration, and university and enterprise joint building, focusing on fields including integrated circuit materials, equipment, process and design, based on relevant majors of Nantong University and provincial major labs.

Over 13 million cubic meters of LNG received and unloaded along the coast of Nantong this year

On 19th November, LNG ship ‘Aristarchus’ left Jiangsu LNG port safely. Up to now, the amount of LNG received and unloaded along the coast of Nantong has exceeded 13 million cubic meters.

LNG ship ‘Aristarchus’ is from Greece. The voyage is from Egypt to Nantong. 166.7 thousand cubic meters(73.1 thousand tons) of LNG was unloaded, which can meet the daily needs of gas of 200 million families.

LNG is liquefied natural gas. Its main content is methane. Compared with other common fuels, it has many advantages including safety, reliability, cleanliness, environmental protection, flexibility and convenience.
