On 27th November, Mitsui Ocean Development & Engineering Company MODEC (Nantong) and Nantong Innovation District signing ceremony was held at the International Conference Center.

Mitsui Ocean Development & Engineering Company (MODEC) is a global leading floating production solutions provider, a main contractor of major marine engineering projects in the world, and one of the main FPSO suppliers.

Wu Hao, Chairman of the Board of MODEC China, said that since its foundation in 2008, An average of one FPSO per year has been built and delivered in China. The signing was the first time the company cooperated with Nantong. It was also a start of the prosperous development of MODEC in Nantong. He hoped that they could make full use of the ample shipbuilding resources in Nantong, to improve and expand the marine engineering projects.
