On 23rd April, at Rudong Yangkou Port China National Petroleum Corporation Jiangsu LNG Receiving Terminal, ship ‘Rasheeda’ from Qatar successfully berthed and started unloading. Since the start of this year, the receiving terminal has received and unloaded 26 LNG ships. The total amount of liquefied natural gas received and unloaded has exceeded 2 million tons.

Ship ‘Rasheeda’ was loaded with 210,000 cubic meters of liquefied natural gas. After gasification, it can meet the daily gas consumption of 300 million households.

Since it was officially put into operation on 24th May 2011, Jiangsu LNG Receiving Terminal has received and unloaded in total over 90 billion cubic meters of LNG.
