On 11th June, Stiwa (Nantong) Automation Machinery Co., Ltd. held grade 21 ‘dual system’ students graduation ceremony. 5 students successfully passed the vocational qualification certification of WIFI College in Austria, and were entering internship at enterprises stage. It was another achievement of Su-Xi-Tong Industrial Park in deepening international vocational education cooperation.

The certification evaluation includes two parts: practical test and interview defense. The whole process applies Austrian professional standards. Certified students will directly go to Stiwa Nantong company for internship, and achieve seamless connection of ‘employment upon graduation’.

As a well-known company in Austria, Stiwa Group is leading in global automatic assembly field. It has branches in Germany, the United States and China. It has 2,225 employees over the world.

In 2013, Stiwa Group settled in Su-Xi-Tong Industrial Park, to plan the production of high-performance automated production lines. In the past more than 10 years, the company has developed fast. In 2018, Stiwa introduced the advanced education model in German-speaking countries —— ‘dual system’ to Nantong, and has continuously promoted the application of dual system.

Since 2023, there have been students who completed training and started to work officially. Among the current 160 employees of the company, more than 10% are ‘dual system’ students.
