Nantong became national cross-border E-commerce integrated pilot area

On 24 December 2019, State Council approved to establish national cross-border e-commerce integrated pilot areas in 24 cities and Nantong is one of them.

China cross-border e-commerce integrated pilot area is a pioneer cross-border e-commerce area for trial in technical standards, procedures, supervision mode and information system of cross-border e-commerce trade, payment, logistics, Customs clearance, tax reimbursement, and exchange settlement.

As one of the 1st batch of 14 coastal open cities, the total amount of foreign trade in Nantong is always leading in prefecture-level cities in China. New foreign trade industries such as cross-border e-commerce started early. Now, a batch of international industrial cluster areas have been formed in fields suitable for cross-border e-commerce such as home textile, clothing, furniture, health building facilities, and electrical tools. A batch of domestic and international famous brands appeared, including Luolai, Dusto, Mlily, Bermo, Ziluolan and Tieren. Solid industrial foundation and excellent development environment made Nantong a national cross-border e-commerce integrated pilot area after years of hard work.
