From night of 15 January to dawn of 16 January, overhead lines of Shanghai-Nantong Yangtze River Bridge installation was started in the rain.

Overhead lines are power supply lines of high speed trains. Line erection work is the most significant part of overhead lines installation. It determines whether the electric powered trains can operate normally.
