On 28 April, Nantong held Tongzhou Bay new estuary (Suzhou) cross river integrated development conference, promoted the investment environment of Tongzhou Bay, and presented the unique advantage and broad perspective of the new estuary of Tongzhou Bay.

On the conference, 20 major projects were signed. The total investment was 62.5 billion Yuan in industrial fields such as intelligent equipment, new energy, and new materials. It is of great significance to completion of industrial train, acceleration of industrial agglomeration, supporting function improvement, and harbour, industry and city integrated development of Tongzhou bay.

Secretary of CPC Nantong Committee and director of Standing Committee of municipal People’s Conference Xu Huimin delivered a speech on the conference. Deputy Secretary of CPC Nantong Committee and Mayor Wang Hui hosted the conference. Deputy Mayor of Suzhou Lu Chunyun gave a speech.

Tongzhou bay is a key part of ocean and river development and integrated development of Nantong, also a future growth point. It has outstanding national strategic status. Yangtze River delta integrated development national strategy mentioned about planning and building of new estuary of container transport of Tongzhou bay. In the present 7 ten billion grade major industrial projects have settled, and a hundred billion grade harbor green high end industrial base will come out.
