Due to a series of foreign trade stabilization policies, Nantong foreign trade export increase is better than market expectation in April. According to the latest statistics of Nantong Customs, from January to April, the realized foreign import and export value of Nantong is 76.9 billion Yuan, which is 1.9% less than that of same period last year.

From the monthly trend, in March and April, the foreign trade of Nantong restored obvious growth. As restoration of work and operation is better and domestic supply chain is restored, the foreign trade pace started to recover since March. A lot of delayed orders due to suspension of work and operation and lack of labour were delivered also, which made the foreign trade import and export increased. In April, the foreign trade of our city reached 21 billion Yuan, which increased 15% and the comparative growth is 0.9%.
