On 20 October, at Changjiang town ‘centenarians’ talk about good life’ exhibition, a photo of centenarian touching steering wheel attracted people’s attention. He is a resident of Hong Xing Bei district of Changjiang town, Wang Longsheng, just celebrated his 100th birthday in September.

There are 43 in Changjiang town. When Double Ninth Festival is coming, ‘centenarians’ talk about good life’ exhibition was held in town.

‘Bicycles used to be rare. Now every family has a car. People really have a good life.’ Wang Longsheng sat in the driver’s cab and felt the ‘good life’ created in the modern times.

‘I like singing while sweeping the floor. My grandson taught me to sing karaoke.’ This is Zhou Fenying’s quotation about good life. Zhou Fenying who is 106 years old stays at Guoyuan community of Changjiang town. Her family has five generations. She likes singing. In the age when people do not have to worry about food and clothing, doing things that she likes is her ‘good life’.

‘What I like is to let my granddaughter take photos for me. She uploads them to wechat moments, many people like me.’ 100-year-old Yi Qinying who stays in Wuling community of Changjiang town likes browsing wechat moments.

The exhibition went to communities, squares, schools and shopping malls of Changjiang town to create a good social environment for tradition morals of respecting senior people.
