On 28 November, secretary of CPC Nantong Committee Xu Huimin met ambassador of Sweden in China, Helena Sngeland and CEO of Scania China Group, Mats Harborn.

Sngeland came to Nantong for visit and attended the opening ceremony of Scania Rugao manufacture base. Scania is one of the two mega automobile manufacture companies in Sweden. It is also one of the top three heavy duty truck manufactures in the world. It is called ‘Benz and BMW in heavy duty trucks’. The products are sold to more than 100 countries and areas in the world. The total investment of the project is about 5.3 billion Yuan. The project includes three phases. After completion, the estimated annual value of output will reach 50 billion Yuan.

Sngeland said that Nantong had beautiful scenes and hospitable people. She was impressed in the first visit, and was glad about the achievements of economic and social development of Nantong.
