On 19 December, Nantong west bus station was in operation officially. It can satisfy the needs of one-stop transfer for passengers of Nantong west railway station and bus station.

Nantong west bus station is located at No.3 west Station Avenue, Pingchao town, Tongzhou district, at the northwest corner of Shanghai-Suzhou-Nantong Railway Nantong west railway station integrated transport hub.

The station integrates functions including bus transport, urban public transport and hub police service station. It is an important model project of building Jiangsu integrated transport hub in Nantong. The total area of the building is 13219 square meters. There are 4 ticketing windows and 2 ticket entrances. The area of the car park is 7766 square meters. There are two floors in main building of the station. On the first floor there is public transport station with 34 parking lots, equipped with bus passenger aboard and alight areas. On the second floor there are long-distance bus passenger waiting room, ticketing room and long distance bus parking place with 27 parking lots. It mainly serve transfer passengers of the counties (cities, districts).
