The list of 2021 Jiangsu major projects is published. This year the preliminary number of projects is 240. The annual intended investment is 553 billion Yuan, which is 12 billion Yuan more than that of last year. On 5 March, the reporter learnt from Nantong municipal Commission of Development and Reform that there are in total 30 Nantong projects in provincial major projects list.

Jiangsu major projects are classified into five major types: innovation platform, industrial project, ecological and environmental protection, people’s livelihood, and infrastructure. The number of Nantong ‘application projects’ in Jiangsu major projects is 25. Among them, the 5 ‘major infrastructure projects’ are: Nantong harbour addition and upgrading project, Nantong rail transit project, Jiangsu coastal gas pipeline, Rudong offshore wind power, and No.1 unit of Huaneng Nantong gas turbine innovation and development model project.

There are 5 provincial ‘reserve projects’ in Nantong, including Rugao Golden Eagle Lyocell fiber, Nantong SK Seiko ultra micro bearings, Nantong Zhang Jian entrepreneurs’ college, Haimen-Taicang cross river tunnel, Nantong new airport.
