On 3 March morning, Zheng Younian festschrift first publish forum was held at press group building, as the starting ceremony of CPC’s 100th anniversary and Nantong Daily’s 80th anniversary series events of Nantong Daily (Group). Leaders of Nantong Daily press group and previous staff representatives, in-service staff representatives and Zheng Younian’s family, more than 80 people attended the event.

Zheng Younian was born in Nantong, Jiangsu in 1933. He was the first CPC secretary, director and chief editor of Nantong Daily after publication was resumed after ‘the Cultural Revolution’.
