On 12 January, subsidiary research institute of Ministry of industry and information technology CCID consulting published top 100 counties in service industry(2021). Rugao, Qidong, Hai’an and Rudong are on the list, ranked 17th, 20th, 23rd and 37th respectively.

CCID consulting county economy research center built county service industry high quality development evaluation index system, performed systematic research and integrated evaluation on service industry development of 1870 counties over the state, from four aspects which are total industrial volume, industrial structure, industrial quality and efficiency, and industrial support and using 18 specific indices, and published top 100 counties in service industry(2021).
