On 9 January, Nantong disease control and prevention center published the latest announcement: Spring Festival is coming, more people are returning to hometown or Nantong, there will be increase in people gathering and mobility. They suggest citizens do not leave Nantong or go overseas if not necessary, except visiting relatives in hometown or necessary official business. Spending the festival in Nantong is encouraged. Mobility of people shall be reduced as much as possible.

People staying at medium and high risk areas, who have the same track as infected people, or whose health codes are not normal shall delay their trips to Nantong. People who have abnormal health codes or travel codes after arriving at Nantong shall report to community (hotel) and employer actively as soon as possible, cooperate with measures including isolation control, health monitoring and nucleic acid tests, avoid going out before infection risk is eliminated.
