A few days ago, National Health Commission website published announcement about 2021 National Health City and Town review result from National Patriotic Health Association. Nantong was reconfirmed as ‘National Health City’. Since national health city is awarded, it is reviewed every 3 years. In 2007, Nantong became national health city, and passed the reviews in 2011, 2015, 2018, and 2021 successfully. Up to now, Nantong has realized National Health City ‘five consecutive victories’.

In 2021, Qidong and Rugao were also re-confirmed as ‘National Health City (district)’; Nantong Erjia town was reconfirmed as ‘National Health Town (County)’.
