All indices of Nantong integrated free trade zone average level of integrated free trade zones in Jiangsu

On 3 March, 2021 statistical data of China Free Trade Zone and Export Processing Zone Association showed that all indices of Nantong integrated free trade zone are above the average of all the 21 integrated free trade zones in Jiangsu, 14 indices are ranked the top 5 in Jiangsu.

Last year, the import and export value of Nantong integrated free trade zone exceeded 10 billion for the first time, reached 10.4 billion Yuan, there is an increase of 30%; the import and export of research and development is 32.95 million Yuan, there is an increase of 16%, which is among the top quarter of Jiangsu; import and export of cross border e-commerce is about 150 million Yuan, which is the top in the province; import and export value of new and high-tech products is 6.7 billion Yuan, which is twice of that of the year before last, which accounts for 65% of the total import and export value; utilized foreign capital of new contracts is 76.26 million U.S. dollars, there is an increase of 52.5%, the actual utilized foreign capital is 72.16 million U.S. dollars, there is an increase of 74.5%, which is among the top ones in the province.

In terms of innovation promotion, Nantong integrated free trade zone implemented 11 reform and innovation measures successfully, which is in the first team of the province together with Kunshan and Suzhou high tech Industrial Development Zone integrated free trade zones; the first Cainiao international center warehouse and bonded warehouse in Jiangsu was settled in Nantong, and several leading e-commerce platforms were attracted including Tmall international, Kuaishou, and Pinduoduo, the scale of the business is leading in the province.
