On 28 June morning, Zhang-Jing-Gao Yangtze River bridge main project mobilization meeting was held.

Zhang-Jing-Gao Yangtze River bridge is located at about 28 kilometers downstream of Jiangyin Yangtze River Bridge, about 16 kilometers of Shanghai-Suzhou-Nantong Yangtze River Bridge. It connects three cities which are Suzhou, Taizhou and Nantong. It starts at the intersection of west of Shizhuang town, Rugao, Nantong and Shanghai-Shaanxi Expressway, ends at Suzhou Zhangjiagang Shugang expressway Chenyang interchange. The length of the road is about 30 kilometers.

The construction period of the bridge is 6 years. The design estimated cost is 31.166 billion Yuan. After the project is completed, Nantong west area will be connected with Suzhou and Shanghai area directly, which will make it more convenient for nearby residents to travel, and improve the support abilities of transport service further.
