t dawn of 5 June, self-lifting self-propelled wind power installation platform ‘Hai Feng 1001’ designed and built independently by ZPMC, with the largest lifting capacity in China up to now was undocked successfully at base No.4 of Nantong ZPMC. The installation platform is 133.8 m long, 50 m wide, 11 m deep. The total weight is about 28000 tons. On the stern starboard there is a 2500 tons slewing around pile full rotary crane.

After the project is completed, it will be used in sand, clay or similar geological conditions. It will be used mainly for installation of wind turbine equipment of 15 megawatts and above. The maximum operation water depth is 70 meters. It can travel in unlimited navigation area. It satisfies class B ice zone travel conditions. It passed CCS classification society check and Chinese flags were hung on it.
