On 23rd November, Nantong Rail Transit Line 2 passed completion acceptance successfully. Rail Transit Line 2 is the second underground railway line constructed in Nantong. Its construction was started on 26th October 2018.

The total length of Line 2 phase 1 project is 20.85 km. It is in ‘L’ shape, connecting Chongchuan District and Tongzhou District. It starts from Xingfu Station in Chongchuan District, passes Xingfu Avenue, North Street, Haoxi Road, Yuelong Road, and Qingnian Road, and then enters Tongzhou District. The terminal station is Xianfeng Station. There are 17 stations in total.
