Recently, the website of Ministry of Commerce published the integrated development level evaluation results of 2023 National Economic and Technological Development Area. The integrated evaluation result of Nantong Economic and Technological Development Area is ranked 21st among the 230 national economic and technological development areas, and it moved up 18 places from the previous year.

From January to November 2023, the general public budget income of Nantong Economic and Technological Development Area is 6.333 billion yuan, the local tax income is 5.53 billion yuan, which accounts for 87.32%, ranking first in Nantong; the actual used foreign investment is 540 million U.S. dollars, the total amount and target completion rate are ranked first in Nantong; the integrated achievement evaluation of business and investment attraction is ranked first in Nantong.
