More than 400 exhibition from more than 20 countries including Russia, Turkey and Germany paticipated

On 27th February, the 25th Uzbekistan International Construction Exhibition (UzBuild) opened at Uzexpocentre, Tashkent. As the first exhibition of ‘2024 Nantong Export Brand Overseas Trip’, Nantong organized in total 11 high-quality enterprises to participate.
UzBuild is the construction materials and interior decoration exhibition of the largest scale and highest level in Uzbekistan. It covers hardware tools, interior decoration, kitchen and bathroom supplies, construction materials, HVAC, construction supporting facilities, and construction machinery etc. It attracted many professional purchasers from Central Asia countries. During the expo, many economic and trade magazines, mass media and TV stations all promoted and reported the expo widely. The total area of the expo is about 15 thousand square meters. More than 400 exhibitors from more than 20 countries including Russia, Turkey and Germany participated. Chinese participating enterprises account for about one fourth. The number of visitors from Uzbekistan and nearby countries exceeded 10 thousand.
At present, China has become the largest trade partner of Uzbekistan. The products of participating enterprises such as Jiangsu Toua, Nantong Qiande, Jiangsu Flint, Gao Le Bo electrical appliances, and Jiangsu Mengjini were popular among the attending visitors. By face-to-face communication at the expo, a batch of Central Asia traders and enterprises reached preliminary cooperation intentions with Nantong enterprises.
At the expo, Nantong Bureau of Commerce organized a China and Uzbekistan enterprises matchmaking event, invited the minister of Uzbekistan Economic Council to deliver a speech and visit the booths of Nantong enterprises, which improved the effect of participation and brand influence of Nantong delegation. Nantong International Chamber of Commerce and Uzbekistan Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export signed a cooperation agreement. Representatives of more than 30 Uzbekistan purchasers participated in the event, and had further communication with the exhibitors.
During the exhibition, Nantong Bureau of Commerce organized enterprises to research on markets and local enterprises. Nantong Bureau of Commerce also visited Tashkent Chamber of Commerce and Industry, to get to know the local policies about import and export promotion and investment attraction, visited logistics and railway transport enterprises in Uzbekistan, and discussed the feasibility of opening of Central Asia Railway express.
