On 10th November, ten thousand runners gathered at the site of the Haimen Marathon. The competition attracted ten thousand runners from 13 countries and regions including Sweden, Spain and Australia.

After fierce competition, the Ethiopian player Chala Gemechu Tolosa won the championship of men’s group of the marathon with a score of 02:15:44. A Kenyan player, Philis Jepkosgeikirop, won the championship of women’s group with a score of 02:50:44. In half marathon men’s group, Ethiopian athlete Aschalew Biru Hunde won the championship with a score of 01:05:58. In half marathon women’s group, Kenyan athlete Leah Cheruto won the championship with a score of 01:14:41.
