Recently, the National Ambient Air Quality Status for October 2024 was published. Among the 168 major cities, Nantong is included in the top 20 cities with relatively good air quality, ranking 10th.

At the same time, Nantong is also included in the top 20 cities with low PM2.5 concentration, ranking 8th, and it is the only city in Jiangsu which entered the top 10.
