On 21st March, Multinational Corporations Dialogue with Nantong - Auto Parts Special Event was held in Shanghai. Representatives from multinational corporations and chambers of commerce in auto parts industry gathered together, to discuss cooperation and development.

Automobile and parts industry is one of the key advantageous industrial chains cultivated by Nantong. A batch of famous international enterprises have settled. We expect more multinational corporations to choose Nantong as the first choice for setting up production bases and regional functional headquarters based on Shanghai, and deepen practical cooperation by means such as investment and joint venture, technology investment, and joint construction of characteristic industrial parks, to achieve mutual benefits.

At the event, multinational corporations and chambers of commerce (associations) in automobile and parts field including Continental AG, Webasto Group, TüV Rheinland, Vector, SAE International, and Sino-German Automobile Association communicated and delivered speeches.

They said that Nantong and Shanghai have been more integrated in terms of living, transportation and industry, and that Nantong has more prominent location, resources and cost advantages and rapid responses in in-depth integration of technological innovation and industrial innovation, which made it a preferred choice of investment and operation. They expressed the willingness and assumptions to further investigate, understand, and cooperate in depth.
