On 24th April, China—Bulgaria Education and Culture Cooperation Alliance was established in Nantong University.

Bulgaria is one of the first batch of Central and Eastern European countries to sign cooperation documents on the joint building of the ‘Belt and Road’ Initiative with China. The two countries have deepened cooperation and integration in fields such as culture, education, science and technology. At the event, Eleonora Tankova, Vice-rector of Varna Free University, expressed her hope that China—Bulgaria Education and Culture Cooperation Alliance could become an innovative platform for collaborative development between the two parties in the fields of science, education, culture and sustainable development.
