In the first quarter of 2025, Nantong’s total foreign trade exports increased by 10.79% year-on-year, and the number of enterprises receiving export tax rebates increased by 5.6% year-on-year.

In terms of export destinations, in the first quarter, Nantong’s exports to 129 countries and regions achieved positive growth, with nearly 10 new export countries and regions added to its export markets. The export value to Latin America increased by 45.12% year-on-year. The export value to Africa increased by 24.78% year-on-year.

In the first quarter of this year, the export values of Nantong electrical equipment and optical instruments and equipment increased by 26.37% and 25.22% respectively, which fully demonstrates the strong manufacturing capability of Nantong.

Wang Dongliang, the Vice President and Secretary to the Chairman of Aeolon Technology Co., Ltd., introduced that as the world’s largest wind turbine blades manufacturing base, the company would continue to increase investment in research and development and the outlook this year was promising.

Nearly seventy per cent of the export products of Jiangsu Yudi Optics Co., Ltd. are sold to Japan and Thailand. Wu Difu, the founder of the company, said that in the first quarter the company’s export sales revenue was 61.9 million yuan, and there is a year-on-year increase of 28.88%.
