On 20 February, the reporter learnt from Nantong epidemic prevention and control department social and community prevention and control team conference that from that day Nantong would promote electronic health pass ‘Yilaitong’ all over the city.

There are three steps to apply for ‘Yilaitong’: firstly people scan the QR code on the notice published in various places to enter the page ‘electronic health pass application’, or follow ‘wechat police’ wechat official accounts of public security departments of various places to apply, and verify with their mobile phone messages. The second step is that after verification is done, people need to fill in personal information, residential information and vehicle, upload their photo, identification card photo and automobile photo, check and fill in relevant information. The third step is that after personal information is registered, the platform will compare information automatically, if everything is correct, a picture of ‘some (county) district some street some community pass’ will be generated, and it can be saved to mobile phone album. The complete progress takes about 2 to 3 minutes.

Transient people must apply for electronic health pass when they come to Nantong. Resident people can apply for the pass for convenience in entry and exit to public places according to requirements of various places. Nantong police reminded that electronic health pass applies one person one pass, and one time registration. One identification card can only be used in application of one pass, and the pass has a unique code.
