At 3:29 pm on 26 May, China Railway Express (Hai’an –ASEAN) set off from Hai’an logistics base of China Railway Shanghai Group Co., Ltd. at Hai’an Trade Logistics Park to Hanoi of Vietnam. The trip takes about 5 days. 70 standard containers were loaded with industrial machine parts, textile and photovoltaic products. It is the 1st international freight line from the Yangtze River delta to ASEAN.

As the only provincial professional logistics park in Jiangsu, Hai’an Trade Logistics Park has become a national excellent logistics park. In the 1st season, the realized taxable sales was 7.65 billion Yuan, the tax reached 10.66 million Yuan, which is 21% more than plan.

ASEAN area is an important area of ‘the Belt and Road’ national strategy. Countries like Cambodia, Indonesia, Singapore, Philippine and Vietnam all have successful cases of capacity transfer, investment and development and project contract of Hai’an.

The successful start of ‘Hai’an – ASEAN’ line will integrate the Yangtze River delta and riverside and coastal resources, build a new international logistics way and become an important platform and Nantong ‘inland harbour’ building.
