On 26 August, high end cruise liner manufacture project invested and built by China Merchants Group has progressed in order. At Phase 1 project construction site which was started in April, workers were busy. Aiming at the advantages of companies in Shenzhen such as high quality and high project quality, Nantong has been recruiting business investment continuously. In the last three years, economic trade interactions with Shenzhen has been more intense. Over 30 investment recruitment events have been held in Shenzhen, attracted a batch of famous companies to come to Nantong including Shenzhen Evergrande group, China Merchants Group, Amer International Group, Baoneng group and Chongda technology, promoted industrial transformation and upgrading in Nantong.

Shenzhen is a place where advanced technology, innovative companies, finance and industrial investment gather, where headquarters of central enterprises and state owned companies, and large private companies’ headquarters gather. Especially in industries such as electronic information and new materials, there are a lot of technological leading companies. It is major investment recruitment target of our city.

Since 2016, Nantong has held 1 to 2 investment promotion week events in Shenzhen every year. Municipal cadres and people in charge of various counties (cities, districts) visited over 300 companies in Shenzhen and nearby areas, promoted more than 200 projects.
