On 29 September, 2021 China Nantong Jianghai international cultural tourism festival was open at Nantong grand theatre.

China Nantong Jianghai International Cultural Festival has been held for 18 times. It has become a famous festival brand which integrates cultural tourism resources of Nantong and promotes regional cultural tourism exchange.

‘China (Nantong) drama performance season’ is the ‘focus’ of this year’s Jianghai International Cultural Tourism Festival. On that night, original drama legend of Zhang Jian was performed for the first time on the opening ceremony. Bencha ancient town Zhong shi street opening ceremony was presented by live video connection at the opening ceremony, Nantong cultural tourism resources with local characters were fully presented.

The cultural tourism festival will be held with ‘1+10’, which is 1 opening ceremony and 10 municipal major events, including ‘Yangtze River delta thousands cars and ten thousand people Nantong tour’ event, Nantong food festival, Nantong cultural tourism products in the 3rd grand canal cultural tourism expo, and ‘chase dreams in Nantong, fly across Nantong’ Yangtze River delta media Nantong trip aerial photo taking event. This time, the counties (cities, districts), relevant organizations and scenic spots will hold 33 unique and characteristic theme cultural tourism events. It will last until October.
