On 23 September, Jiangsu federation of industry and commerce held 2021 Jiangsu top 100 private companies press conference. 2021 Jiangsu top 200 private companies list was published. 32 Nantong companies on top 200 private companies list.

The list takes 2020 annual operation income of above scale private companies in Jiangsu as an important basis, the entry threshold is 5.86 billion Yuan. The list shows that Hengli group, Zhongnan group, and Shagang group are the top 3, the number of Nantong companies is ranked the 3rd in Jiangsu, next to Suzhou (47), and Wuxi (34).

Among the Nantong companies on the list, there are 23 construction companies, 6 manufacture companies, 2 service trade companies, and 1 new energy company. There are 2 companies among the top 10, Zhongnan group is ranked the 2nd ，which paid 10.6 billion yuan tax in 2020; Nantong Sanjian Holdings is ranked the 6th.
