On 29 September, Nantong ring expressway project held mobilization conference. 5.02 billion Yuan investment target shall be completed this year to ensure the conditions for opening to traffic by the end of June of 2024.

Nantong ring expressway is the ‘second ring expressway’ of ‘three rings, four beams and four channels’ of expressway network planning of Nantong. It is the ‘first work’ of Nantong in building modern integrated transport hub. The projects starts from S356 Yangtze River side highway in Haimen, ends at the crossing of G15 Shenhai expressway and Shanghai-Suzhou-Nantong Yangtze River Bridge north line. The length is 65.4 km. The total investment is about 14.924 billion Yuan.
